Gassim participated in the Africa Agri Investment Indaba, which was held at Cape Town, South Africa. The 3-day conference spanned across November 18th to 20th. Edun Olaniyi, the Director for Anglophone African Countries represented Gassim.
The African Agri Investment Indaba (AAII) is the global meeting place for agrifood investment in Africa. Bringing together over 300 key stakeholders – from governments, banks, financiers, investors, project owners, project developers, commercial farmers, and the Agro and food processing industry – to discuss trends that will likely influence food and agribusiness economics over the next decade in Africa.
The Agri Indaba delivered a unique mix of decision makers from across the food and agriculture value chain making it the most effective place to conduct business in the sector.
Also in attendance for the conference are top industry players such AfDB, Standard Bank SA, Nestle, Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), Aceli Africa, Land and Agricultural Development Bank(LADB), AGRA to mention but a few. Several captivating topics was discussed for instance- Creating Value and Impact for Investors with Storage and Logistics Facilities. The conference was also an opportunity for Gassim to understanding various approach, processes and updated information related to the Agro-Industry, to enable us fine tune the delivery of our ranges of services in this sector.
