The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) celebrated a quarter century of financing and promoting African trade.
The 2018 annual meeting and 25th-anniversary celebration gathered 2500 business, political leaders and economic decision-makers across Africa in Abuja, including Gassim’s Regional Technical Director, Jerry Fiifi Donkor, and Gassim Board Director, Yoro Diallo .
It was an opportunity to have business meetings with Afreximbank and other financial institutions which share the same location as Gassim. Today Gassim works in Benin, Nigeria, Niger, Kenya, Ethiopia, Algeria, Senegal, Egypt and has references in more than 20 African countries.
About Yoro Diallo
Yoro has accumulated a remarkable portfolio of African leaders that has solidified his status as an internationally recognised expert. He is the co-founder and Director in Gassim.
Holding a Master of Science with honours in Banking and Finance from Saint Mary’s University (California, USA), he brings more than 30 years’ experience to Africa either as Vice President of Citibank New York heading the Africa desk or Director of UBA Capital or Expert for Ecobank and others financial organisations. Yoro holds Senegalese and American passports.

Jerry, a Ghanaian National, is the Technical Director of Gassim since 2013. He is an architect. He has developed his expertise in Ghana with Designera, Eldorm Housing, Kolatcon, Management Moves, Jubail Specialist Hospital. With Gassim, he is involved in the technical and development affairs in Nigeria and Ghana, mainly.
